Each year Waterford Walls invites world-class national and international street artists to paint the city’s walls with stunning large scale artwork, and 2019 will be no different! Join it for amazing live painting by some of the world’s top street artists, along with a fun-filled family-friendly programme of activities including live music, outdoor film screenings, food and guided art trails.
Guided Art Trails of Waterford Walls
Experience Irelands largest outdoor gallery of urban art showcasing stunning works from some of the world’s top street artists. Our expert guides will take you on a two-hour tour, visiting stunning murals from world-famous artists such as Dan Kitchener, Smug and Fintan Magee, to name a few. This tour will give you a unique perspective on Waterford, taking you off the beaten to explore the city.
Cork to Waterford Walls Art BusTrail on August 24th
Join us on this unique experience that will bring you from Cork City to the Waterford Walls 2019 Festival. Waterford Walls Festival bus will drive you from Cork City to Waterford City. This is a new addition to the Waterford Walls festival calendar and promises to be a massive hit for all our community of street art enthusiasts.
Departing at 9.45 in the morning, you will take a bus from Cork Kent Train Station which brings you on a tour of Waterford Walls art being painted on arrival all over Waterford City. The artwork and the multitude of stories behind the project will all be revealed by our expert art guide. You can then enjoy live music, outdoor film screenings and grab a bite to eat going on in the Festival Hub area on O Connell St.
You will then return to Cork city departing at 10 pm from Tully’s Stage Bar, Waterford Walls Festival Hub on O Connell St.

Waterford Walls Greenway Art Bus Trail
Waterford Walls invites you to join this unique guided art tour of the Waterford Walls artwork on the Waterford Greenway. The tour will finish with an expert-guided tour of this year’s artwork being painted all over Waterford City.
This Art trail is a new addition to the Waterford Walls festival calendar and promises to be a massive hit for our audience of street art enthusiasts. Departure at 10 am on August 23rd – pick up point Tully’s Bar, on 37 O’Connell St, Waterford. You will take a bus from our festival hub in Waterford City which brings you on a tour of Waterford Walls art on the Greenway.
The artwork and the multitude of stories behind the project will all be revealed by our expert art guide. Halfway through the tour, we will stop for a coffee break in Kiersey’s Tearooms in the heart of the picturesque village of Kilmacthomas.
You will then return to the city where our guide will bring you on a guided art tour of the artwork as it is being painted in Waterford. This promises to be must book event in Waterford Walls Festival calendar this year.” Return to Waterford City at 3 PM.
