Waterford FC vs Dundalk FC 7:45pm at Waterford RSC
The Blues return to the RSC this Friday (10th May), as they welcome Dundalk FC to the Blues home in their latest SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash.
After a perfect Bank Holiday weekend that saw the Blues pick up 6 points in their games away to Sligo Rovers & Shamrock Rovers, Keith Long’s side will look to bring that form back to the RSC this Friday with the visit of Dundalk.
An early second-half Christie Pattisson strike proved the difference between the Blues & the Bit o’Red in Sligo on Friday, before the Blues comfortably defeated the reigning Champions Shamrock Rovers by three-goals-to-one on Monday afternoon.
An own-goal from Rovers net-minder Leon Pohls put the Blues into the lead with just three minutes on the clock, before Johnny Kenny equalised minutes later for Stephen Bradley’s side. Dean McMenamy netted against his former club with a beautiful finish from distance mid-way through the first-half, before Connor Parsons finished off the scoring shortly after half-time with a stunning effort from the edge of the Rovers box.

DIRTBIRDS “GIRLS WORLD TOUR”
Ireland’s Queens of Comedy are back with their brand-new show “Girls World Tour”.
After their last sell out tour, which received standing ovations across Ireland and the UK, DirtBirds are bringing their highly relatable and spot on observational comedy back to the stage.
With a mix of stand-up and sketches this hilarious new show explores the fascinating female mind and answers burning questions like:
Why do we enter 1000 calories into our Noom app when we’ve really consumed over 6,000?
Why do we hold onto tights when they’ve ladders in them?
Why do we keep buying creams that we KNOW won’t stop our faces from sliding down our necks?
Come along to DirtBirds’ new show and make it a girl’s night out (or if you’re really clever a girl’s weekend away).
Go on… you deserve it!
“DirtBirds comedy is based on observing everyday situations and turning them into very intelligent stand -up, sketches and stories” The Independent
“Sinead and Sue identify a gap in comedy that women can really relate to…” The Times
“These internet sensations will have you in stitches” The Independent

The Bilberry Goats present: Is This It? (Sold Out)
The Bilberry Goats are in the 13th year of our original three-year plan. Our portfolio of work and sketches has grown exponentially in that time. From early revue shows of music and comedy to the more recent full-bodied productions such as What Rising in 2016, I Do, I Do, So I Do in 2019 and We’re All in this Together in 2022.
Garter Lane Theatre has become the home of the Bilberry Goats where the audience merges with the antics on stage to become as one, when the roars of laughter reverberate throughout the auditorium. So, in this 40th Anniversary year of Garter Lane, we thought we should mark it as only the goats could, with aplomb and sophistication in the form of comic chaos. It’s a nostalgic trip that looks back on some of the finer moments of past shows, but packaged in a new show that will still manage to surprise the audience.

VIXEN by Helen Casey Starring Rose Henderson
Angie, mischievous and fun loving, reflects on her life as “the other woman”, delighting the audience with her scandalous tale!
VIXEN, written by Helen Casey and performed by Rose Henderson, is a compelling psychological drama of one woman’s resilience, determination and desperation to name the love that was hers, but belonged to another.
Both haunting and mesmerizing, it is a visceral exploration of love, unspoken loss and uncomfortable truths.
As we are drawn further into Angie’s world, the emotional rollercoaster plunges from the frothy highs to a much darker terrain filled with suspense and a gnawing grief.
Tis better to have loved and lost…or is it?
It is the first anniversary of Martin’s death.
Angie’s lover.
His family has come to visit his grave.
Angie watches the mourners from the safety of her car, hidden under the Yew tree.
She remains unseen, her own grief buried deep within.
She remembers the foxes, appearing in formation like a string of ugly thoughts…..
