Imagine Arts Festival brings theatre, music, dance, visual art and circus to Waterford each October. Its 25th anniversary programme runs from 20 to 25 October 2026 under the theme “In Memories We Grow”.
Imagine Arts Festival in Waterford
The festival uses venues across the city, from theatres and galleries to spaces you might not usually associate with performance. Local artists share the programme with visiting performers. Together, they offer a range of ways to experience the arts.
In 2026, the Festival Hub is at 49B O’Connell Street, Waterford. The hub hosts The Scattering, an immersive circus production. However, other events take place at separate venues, so check the location on your ticket before travelling.

Choose from lunchtime theatre, live music, workshops and family performance. For example, A Corpo Libero combines a virtual reality dance experience with a live studio workshop. Meanwhile, Desert Bloom uses dance and puppetry to tell a story for young children and their families.
