Waterford Medieval Museum stands in Cathedral Square in the city’s Viking Triangle. Part of Waterford Treasures, it brings together historic spaces and collections that tell the story of medieval Waterford.
Explore Waterford Medieval Museum
The purpose-built museum incorporates the 13th-century Choristers’ Hall and the 15th-century Mayor’s Wine Vault. These surviving chambers offer a setting for a visit that connects the city’s present with its past.
Inside, collections include Waterford’s Great Charter Roll and rare cloth-of-gold church vestments. The displays introduce some of the people, craftsmanship and civic history that shaped the city.
