This years swim is in aid of the Copper Coast Scout Group. They have acquired planning permission for a scout lodge at Ballyscanlon in Fenor, this will be a great asset to all scout groups, so give them a hand to get this up and running, If you decide on Christmas morning to go swimming, and you haven’t got a swim card, don’t worry, you can donate to the bucket collection on the morning. Get there early, so you won’t have to walk too far to and from the swim. As they have for numerous years now Bonmahon Lifeguards will be in charge of the safety aspects of the swim, listen to their advice at all times. Portlaw Red Cross will be on duty there, hopefully they won’t be called upon.
