Copper Coast Market – Sunday 28th of July 2019

Copper Coast Market

Copper Coast Market – Local Market in Tramore

Guest Blog by Ana Duran
As we’re approaching the third ever Copper Coast Market this Sunday the 28th of July, it is almost impossible not to feel the buzz of both traders and market goers. The Copper Coast Market will, as it did the previous two times, take place in Chia & Bia’s car-park in Riverstown Business Park in Tramore. Kicking off at 11 am you can expect to be fed, caffeinated and happy leaving with a bag full goodies from our local traders.

As the Market doubled in size in the space of two months, growing from 12 to 25 trades, it is obvious that it highly attracts both traders and consumers. Emma Martin, the organiser and founder of The Copper Coast Market (also a food blogger and face behind Emma’s Cottage Kitchen) shared her feelings about the upcoming events saying “we have our July Market on Sunday, so we’re all buzzing for that, as well as our August Market. Then we have 2 pop-ups in September – the Harvest Festival on the 7th of September, and another one in Annestown for the Scouts and Ballyscanlon project which is a charity event…” and much more.

Due to the amount and offer of quality local products, attending almost becomes a must. Emma admits her favourite part about the Copper Coast Market is “that it’s a community of local people who put themselves and their talents and skills out there, and they just embrace everything and support each other and show the people of Waterford what they have on their doorstep.”

So what can we expect from this month’s market? Where do we even start?

You can check out Copper Coast Market’s Instagram and Facebook pages for detailed information about it’s traders – but let’s paint a quick picture of Sunday’s opportunities:
Copper Coast Market
Youme offers amazing zero waste products, you can find anything from reusable cotton pads to reusable straws and produce bags of various sizes. Polly & Andy make sure your feet are comfy and cozy with their seamless bamboo socks in the most colorful combinations.

Speaking of colours, we can’t forget Phat Poly, handmade polymer clay earrings that will make a statement even with the simplest of outfits. If you’re craving home decor or even a present for a special someone, keep and eye out for Golden Stitch Designs, Lisa Keane Art, Bespoke Button Designs and Jac Sinnott’s Sassy Pots & Plates, you will not be disappointed!

Hunger will not be an issue here, the famous Bear Grillz street food will make your mouth water with their delicious burgers.
If you’re not in the mood for burgers just pop over to Tacos Don Ron or Sapana’s veggie & vegan Indian food. Did someone say pizza? Oh yes, and not just any pizza, Azzuro wood fire pizza. Aishwarya’s patisserie offers a taste of France too. Top all of that then with coffee or tea in Chia + Bia and Freezin Freisian’s ice cream and it’s already 4 o’clock and time to go home.

If you haven’t made it yet, third time’s the charm!

P.S. you can bring your dog.
