Threshold – Ed Morrissey at Imagine Arts Festival
Threshold brings new paintings by Ed Morrissey to the Index Gallery at Waterford Central Library. The exhibition runs from 1 to 31 October 2026, during library opening hours, and features in the Imagine Arts Festival programme.
This is a free gallery visit within Waterford’s public library. The library welcomes people to come in and look around. Plan your exhibition visit during the branch’s open hours and check the current timetable before travelling.
Threshold at the Index Gallery
Morrissey’s paintings combine landscape and figures. They consider the spaces between memory and the present, being alone and connecting with others, and departure and arrival. Quiet figures and scenes give visitors room to look closely and form their own response.
The exhibition focuses on moments when something may be changing, even when a scene appears still. Spend time with the paintings and the details that draw your attention. The gallery setting makes it a useful stop during a day exploring art in Waterford.
