The Rogue’s have been making waves in Waterford’s comedy scene since January 2023. With a reputation nationwide for being the club where chaos meets comedy and going rogue is encouraged. Following the successful launch of their aptly named Open Mic Night JARRHEADZ on April 28th, they are excited to add their first professional comedy show to the gig roster.

Saoirse Keating, Organizer and host of The Rogue’s Comedy Club, took on the role of host in January 2023. With co-host Kian Carroll joining the ranks in Summer 2023, the team has further expanded to include seasoned comic Selma Page and man about town Robert Condren.

As an inexperienced performer, Saoirse decided to take a risk and create the gig she needed, and shared it with all comedians in the Waterford arts scene.

I didn’t know what I was doing but I knew I had to do it. I made a brand, got into social media advertising. On our second night at Axe Junkies, Kian came along with a huge amount of enthusiasm and just as good jokes. It’s been so incredible to see what this little open mic has become as we take on a second venue and move into professional nights” Saoirse Keating, Organizer and host of The Rogues Comedy Club.

Co-host Kian Carroll describes himself as Ireland’s answer to Dave Chappelle. A young man who has channeled his creative talent to help him work through addiction. While comedy is his real passion, his recovery journey has seen him graduate from Gaiety Theatre and become a multi-talented actor, writer and filmmaker with Stonelark Productions and Red Lead Film Productions.
