About the Walk:
Glenshelane consists of a long wooded glen that runs either side of the Glenshelane River and has an extensive network of forest roads, trails and bridges there’s a great variety of walks from short strolls to long distance walks. The walks are graded by coloured arrows according to their difficulty. Walkers can expect to enjoy beautiful riverside walks through the magnificent woodlands. The walk is so refreshing and of course changes from season to season. Always check the weather forecast and bring refreshments.
Directions:
From Cappoquin travel the Clogheen / Mellary Road R669 for a distance of 1 km until you come to a grotto, veer right and the car park entrance is a short distance after crossing Bealick Bridge.
