Nunsense 3rd to 6th of April

What's on In Waterford April 5th to 11th

Nunsense is an hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Disaster has struck the Little Sisters of Hoboken, 52 nuns have sadly died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia Child of God. Having successfully buried 48 members of the sisterhood… there is no money left to bury the remaining 4 who have been stored in the freezer. Thus, the remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, street-wise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed. With catchy songs and irreverent comedy, Nunsense is sure to keep audiences rolling with laughter.

Fresh off the success of the national award winning ‘Anything Goes’, ‘ENCORE! Another Night to Remember… Tops of the Town’ and ‘Guys & Dolls‘, Jack Cunningham Productions is back with another great night at the theatre.

Nunsense is the perfect tonic for a brilliant night out at the theatre.

Starring:

Karen Steenson – Revered Mother Sister Mary Regina

Anne-Marie Collins – Sister Mary Hubert

Jennifer White – Sister Robert Anne

That’s when the car accident happens, and he wakes up splinted and in pain, in the remote mountain home of his rescuer, Annie Wilkes. The good news is that Annie was a nurse and has pain-killing drugs. The bad news is that she has long been Paul’s Number One Fan.
