Toys4Engineers 2023

Toys4Engineers 2023 promises an action  packed day for all

Toys4Engineers 2023 live expo and conference will return to SETU Arena on Thursday, October 5th, bringing together companies from all over Ireland to showcase their latest innovations and technology.

After an absence of two years, last year’s expo proved to be the most successful yet for companies with an increase in footfall and a number of contracts being secured during and after the event.

Organised by Waterford Chamber, in partnership with Engineering the South East, and sponsored by Energia, Toys4Engineers has gone from strength to strength over the past number of years, now being recognised as a national must-attend event with international conference industry speakers and genuine business interests being met.

Toys4Engineers 2023According to Niall Harrington, Waterford Chamber President: “This is the third year we will have our energy partner Energia on board as overall sponsor, which is very fitting as Toys4Engineers will have a major focus on sustainability and energy.

“We are also with the Engineering the South East cluster in terms of promoting the event and reaching a regional and national audience, as well as IDA Ireland, SETU and Enterprise Ireland. Toys4Engineers is the perfect platform for them to bring their audiences together and provide meaningful networking and business opportunities. The event is free to attend and open to the public. There will be something for everyone and we very much look forward to welcoming new and past exhibitors and visitors to SETU Arena.”

As well as close to 100 participating businesses, there is also a speaker stage and exhibitor stage, where people are welcome to relax and see some of the latest innovations in action, or be part of the discussions around topics such as wind energy, public procurement, sustainability in business and much more. The speaker sessions will conclude with a deep dive into the construction of the North Quays presented by Waterford City & County Council and BAM.

Stephen Rooney of Engineering the South East said: “The wider engineering industry is one of the life-bloods of the region with thousands in employment, along with a significant amount of job opportunities. Our remit is to encourage collaboration and innovation and we know this has already happened in abundance at Toys4Engineers so it is a natural fit for us.

“We are encouraging all our members and the wider network to get involved in this important event. As well as bringing companies together to do business, there will also be a wide range of recruitment opportunities and of course plenty of ‘toys’ for us to play with.”

Toys4Engineers 2023 is supported by Waterford City & County Council, SETU, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Waterford Local Enterprise Office, Waterford Chamber Skillnet and Cobotics Skillnet.
