Initiative highlights FBD’s dedication to fostering growth and sustainability across multiple industries nationwide
Tuesday, 7th May, 2024: Mezze Café in Tramore, Co Waterford has been selected to benefit from €20,000 in major advertising support as part of an FBD Insurance small business support campaign.
Mezze in Tramore, Co Waterford is a Middle Eastern Food Café ran by husband-and-wife team Dvir Nusery and Nicola Crowley. In September 2015, Mezze was born from a small pop-up tent and borrowed equipment at Harvest Festival in Waterford City.
Working from Nicola’s mother’s kitchen, Dvir cooked up a selection of his favourite mezze; dips, salads and breads usually served at the start of the meal in the Middle East.
Mezze is one of seven companies selected by FBD Insurance to take part in an advertising package worth €140,000 for seven Irish SMEs nationwide. Each business will avail of an advertising package valued at more than €20,000.
The selected SMEs represent diverse sectors, ranging from food and hospitality to retail, and hail from all corners of the country. This selection highlights FBD’s dedication to fostering growth and sustainability across multiple industries and all geographic areas.
Each business taking part is an FBD customer and is benefitting from an advertising package placing them in a prime Out of Home billboard location to ensure they can reach the largest possible audience. The advertising bundle also includes radio, print and digital advertising.
All seven businesses will also be featured across Ireland’s largest Out Of Home billboard in Dublin City Centre which will enhance exposure of the businesses and help them reach new audiences.
Speaking about taking part in the campaign, Mezze owners, Dvir Nusery and Nicola Crowley said: “We are delighted to have been selected to take part in this important advertising campaign which shines a line on the importance of SMEs to the Irish economy. The advertising package is an invaluable contribution to our business and we’d like to thank FBD for supporting Irish SMEs.”
