Community Spirit Alive and Well in Waterford
There’s nothing like a bit of good news and these uncertain times we all need it. St. Angela’s School. Ursuline Convent in Waterford city were in the process of organising an annual Easter Raffle to raise funds for their school when the school had to close because of the COVID 19 outbreak.
So by 2ebracing their school motto ‘Not for Self but for Others’ the Parents SScbool Advisory Committee were delighted today to deliver all of the Easter eggs to University Hospital Waterford as a thank you for the wonderful work that they are doing.
All the science goggles from the school have also been donated to the Emergency Department of University Hospital Waterford.
What a massive gesture of goodwill especially in these times when our whole community is dealing with difficulties and challenges like never before.
A big thank you to parents for donating so many Easter eggs.
Well done to all the students, parents and staff of St. Angela’s secondary school in Waterford.
