Lions Christmas Carol Concert
For the past 30 years the Waterford Lions Club Christmas Hamper Appeal Carol Concert has been a major part of so many peoples lives. With people often making it a family event and a way to start celebrating Christmas. Sadly this year we won’t be able to meet at the Cathedral, Barronstrand Street in Waterford City to enjoy the festive cheer and spirt that the concert always awakens in all of us.
The Carol Concert has been a major fund raiser for the Waterford Lions Club Christmas Hamper Appeal over the past 30 years and the Lions are asking everyone to donate anything you can to the hamper appeal at iDonate.
The Show Must Go On
But thankfully the show must go on. Thankfully the Lions Christmas Carol Concert Maestro himself Dr Kevin O’Carroll, who has conducted the orchestra for the past 30 years, had a great idea to produce a ‘Virtual’ Carol Concert that can be watched form the comfort of your homes.
When is it on?
The Waterford Lions Club Christmas Hamper Appeal Carol Concert will be shown LIVE on Waterford In Your Pocket Facebook page at 4pm on Saturday the 12th of December which you can access Waterford In Your Pocket HERE .
We will then reshow the concert at 7pm on our Facebook page and will also post the video to YouTube.
