Sinéad commented “I’ve been working hard with my colleagues in putting a really special programme together and I just couldn’t wait any longer, there’s so many incredible shows to share with our audiences and we’ll be releasing even more acts in the coming weeks. To come back to my hometown to deliver Imagine Arts Festival has been an incredibly proud moment in my career and only makes me even more excited for what the coming years for Imagine will bring – I’ve already a heap of exciting projects in the works for 2024, so now it’s time to enjoy the 2023 programme and hope that the people of Waterford and beyond come out and support the Festival and the wonderful artists we are so lucky to work with this year.

I’m working with an incredibly supportive committee and several key partners including the Arts Council of Ireland and Waterford City and County Council to help deliver the Festival and bring it into a new stage of strategic development. In addition, the Festival is extremely lucky to have the support of WLR FM, The Waterford News and Star, Waterford in Your Pocket, and The Granville Hotel; all as key partners, helping deliver the Festival to its highest standard with even more partners coming on line each day. We really couldn’t be more thankful to these partners because without their support it would be impossible to deliver the Festival.

This year encompasses a more focused programme, allowing us to build a strong foundation for the Festival going forward. In its 22nd year, I’m confident that Imagine Arts Festival is clear in its vision for the future knowing that its past has been built primarily through the unwavering support of its committee and founders. Looking at 2023 and beyond, Imagine Arts Festival is ready to deliver on a new strategic vision allowing for its priorities to reinforce its commitment to artists, artform development and its audiences all the while remaining true to its surroundings and long and rich history. ”

Tickets go on sale for this sneak preview of the programme on Friday 15th September at 12 noon and can be found on the Festival website www.imagineartsfestival.com or through Eventbrite. For updates on the programme, as it unfolds, keep an eye on the Festival website and its social channels:
