Factory Waterford is a nightclub and entertainment venue on John Street in Waterford city centre. Its programme brings together DJ nights, daytime parties and live entertainment, giving visitors a choice of music and dancing in the city’s nightlife district.
Music and entertainment
The venue hosts local, national and international DJs alongside live acts. Different events focus on different styles of music, so check the official programme to find a night that suits your group. Daytime parties provide another way to enjoy the dance floor, with earlier starts and finishes than a late club night.
Factory has a sound and lighting system for its club programme, with a bar serving drinks and cocktails. The atmosphere, admission arrangements and age policy depend on the event. Read the individual listing carefully before booking, particularly for parties aimed at a specific age group.
Planning your visit
John Street is close to Waterford’s Apple Market and other city-centre pubs and restaurants. It is a convenient area for meeting friends before an event. Allow time to arrive, join the entrance queue and have any ticket and identification ready.
Opening times vary with the programme. Check the official Factory Waterford website for current events, booking links and entry information. For accessibility requirements or a group visit, contact the venue before buying tickets so you can confirm the arrangements that matter to you.
