Tully’s Bar Waterford

Tully’s Bar is an independent pub at 37 O’Connell Street in Waterford’s Cultural Quarter. It is known for its rotating craft beer taps, Irish whiskey and regular live music. The bar marked ten years under its current ownership in 2025.

Craft beer and drinks

Independent Irish beer is a focus here, with local and regional breweries represented among the draught choices. The taps change, so ask at the bar what is pouring on the day. There is also a broad whiskey selection and alcohol-free draught options. Coffee is available too.

Live music

Tully’s supports local musicians and hosts sessions through the week, including traditional music and jazz. The programme can change; check Tully’s Facebook page or Instagram for current events before making a special trip.

Visiting Tully’s

The pub is on O’Connell Street, close to Garter Lane Arts Centre and the street art of the Cultural Quarter. It is a useful stop if you want to try a Waterford or Irish craft beer alongside a live session.

Waterford In Your Pocket Tip

Ask which Irish craft beers are on tap when you arrive. If you are visiting for a live session, check the current programme on Tully’s social pages first.
