Venues and public spaces across the island of Ireland will open their doors to host a programme of free evening and late-night entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, language,  heritage and culture. Now in its thirteenth year, Culture Night returns this September 21st with its biggest programme to date!!

Waterford City & County is steeped in culture, creativity and talent and Culture Night Friday September 21st is a fitting and exciting way of celebrating our culture and language with friends and family and within our local communities!!
Our tip is: Make the most of this opportunity to see so many contributors to Waterford’s diverse, exciting and amazing culture and also you can experience events in our beautiful native language as some events with be taking place through both Irish and English. Plan exactly where you want to go, what you would like to see and when! There are so many FREE events taking place it will be difficult to get to every single event you would like to take part in  – so make your own Culture Night trail – tap into our guide on your phone to help you on your way!
