Waterford Where I Live

A taste of what surrounds us here in Waterford

A quote from the Dalai Lama got me thinking, “Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before”! Because of my travels with Waterford In Your Pocket I tend to end up in a new place nearly every week.
At each turn in the road or country lane there is always something new to explore, some new inviting scene that just sends my heart racing.  Getting out and about is such an exhilarating experience that I thought I would share some of the photos that I took over the last while.
Waterford is Ireland’s oldest city but the history and heritage that our county has dates back 5,000 years!

An evening stroll along the Quays  in Waterford city is often met  with scenes of beauty.

Waterford has been often called “A City of Music”, that is very much the case in the summer on the streets of the city.

We love running!  With the Viking Marathon and so many other road races, we a fit bunch of people.

You never know what you might see!

When we have a Country Fair we have a great one.

There is no better place to hang out with friends!

If its a pint you fancy, then we have you covered!

Nothing like open air theater!

We’re great at holding rallies!

We love our live gigs!

Sure you never know who you might meet!

We’re very laid back

When the day is done, there’s no better place to spend time with the one you love.

All is left for me to say is Waterford is where I live! Why not come visit?
