Beyond the Veil – Imagine Arts Festival

Beyond the Veil by Martina Furlong is at the Imagine Arts Festival Hub in Waterford from Tuesday 20 to Sunday 25 October 2026. Visit daily between 10am and 6pm, with free admission and no booking required.

About Beyond the Veil

Martina Furlong presents oil paintings inspired by landscape and the relationship between people and nature. Her work brings together things she encounters in daily life with memory, imagination and intuition.

The paintings consider the land as a place that holds stories across generations. Furlong explores colour and texture through layers of paint, returning to the surface with brushes, palette knives and other tools. The resulting work invites visitors to consider their own connection with the places they know.
